We use single-layer or double-layer toughened glass bonded with PVB foil for balustrades. This type of glass is not only resistant to stress and impact, but also ensures that the glass balustrade remains in place in case of breakage. Single-layer toughened safety glass breaks into small, blurry pieces when shattered.
Glass balustrades can be made from clear, frosted, tinted, or optiwhite glass, depending on your preference. The thickness of the glass depends on the size of the balustrade, its location, and the mounting method. We use double tempered glass glued with PVB foil for point mounts and a thickness of 13.5 mm or 17.5 mm. For single-layer glass, we recommend a minimum thickness of 12 mm.

It's an absolute pleasure to work with Daniel, his work is so neat and nice.We had two shower cubles done by him, there was a small delay as one of the doors were not cut to measure by the glass supplier but Daniel kept us informed and had it all rectified to our satisfaction.We also had a few minor leaks after completion which were rectified within a few days of informing Daniel.You are in safe hands with Daniel and we reccomend him highly.PS : Daniel also gave us the best quote out of the 3 suppliers.
